"Really complex nose with all the colors of pepper, plus a stack of Reine-Claude and Mirabelle plums. Concentrated and structured, this will need some time in bottle to fully unfurl its flag. Then a huge spicy finale. From one of the oldest plantings of this grape variety in the US, dating from 2003. Drinkable now, but best from 2024. Screw cap. -Stuart Pigott"
