"The 2021 Grüner Veltliner Ried Spiegel Vincent is from a relatively flat, south-facing site on loess, very well ventilated, from almost 65-year-old vines. It was made in 300-liter barrels and stayed on gross lees until the following summer. Hazelnut, smoke and honey speak of oak influence, and a touch of caramel follows. The palate, however, is superbly fresh and bright, nicely framing that ripeness and generosity of nose. Smoothness defines the mid-palate, with concentrated but somehow languid creaminess—long, smooth, cool and rounded but oh-so-fresh. (Bone-dry)"

"There is a nice mouth-coating note of wet stone enveloping this silky, vibrant white, which is all about texture. It showcases nectarine, apple and lemon fruit underscored by a subtle salinity. It shows intensity from start to finish, ending in a long, citrusy and stony aftertaste.. —A.Z."
