Thal is the site of some of the Hiedler family’s first vineyards, which they have been cultivating since 1856. Thal is gently sloping terraced vineyard in the southern
portion of the Langenlois where the soil is a sandy and chalky loess. Fermented and raised entirely in stainless steel with extended contact on the fine lees, and partial
malolactic fermentation.
