"So rich and silky, yet so elegant, this great cool-climate gruner veltliner has fabulous grapefruit and pomelo aromas married to herb-garden freshness. I love the way it glides over the medium-bodied palate and off into the distance as if floating on air. "

"Fruitier, brighter and jauntier than the Kirchenberg, which makes sense as it comes from the lower part of the slope (Riesling gets the rockier soil up top). It's juicy and thirst-quenching, with lots of ripe citrus, juicy pear and some fleshy nectarine. Hints of herbs give it delicacy as well as a sense of lift and fun. Will likely age well but I'd drink it now for its sheer drinkability. (TQT)"

"The 2023 Grüner Veltliner Ried Pellingen Privat has a gentle creaminess on the nose and a slight notion of pear fruit. More air reveals a touch of fennel seed. Slenderness and suppleness define the palate, which has a vein of ripe lemon zest at its core, with supple pepperiness that really lasts. (Bone-dry)"

"Vibrant, with smoky mineral and expressive flavors of peach, quince, apricot and lychee. It shows good intensity, with a mineral grip and a long finish of white pepper. — Aleks Zecevic"
