"The 2023 Grüner Veltliner Am Berg is made from bought-in and estate-grown grapes across Engabrunn, Feuersbrunn and Grossriedenthal. Whole bunches were crushed and had up to six hours of skin contact before being pressed and fermented mostly in stainless steel. It unites a totally appetizing notion of moss with fragrant citrus peel on the first sniff. The palate is crunchy and fresh, pure and clear, adding a little yeasty, peppery savor around its slender edges and shines with crunchy, appetizing, light-footed freshness, slight grip and a bright, lemony finish. (Bone-dry)"

"This shows wonderful tension between the fruit, floral and spice details, with concentrated acidity and pinpoint focus. It is a wine that will please most people without too much fuss, but still complex and long enough to keep you coming for more. Best Buy. —A.Z."
