"This rich but beautifully balanced and full-bodied gruner veltliner has a fantastic array of candied-citrus and tobacco-leaf aromas. Compact midpalate and plenty of power in the long, structured finish. A cuvee from the Kaferberg, Schenkenbichl and Spiegel sites. From organically grown grapes. Matured in large neutral oak."

"The 2023 Grüner Veltliner Langenloiser Alte Reben, from vines that are on average 50 years old, mainly harvested in the Schenenkbichl, Spiegel and Käferberg sites, all made separately in a variety of barrels, from 300 to 1,200 liters, from both French and Austrian oak, and blended later. Yeast and a touch of miso on the nose immediately signal savoriness. Concentration and rounded ripeness are perfectly countered by a subtle, zesty texture and salty acidity, which is harmonious and elegant, with slight creaminess from oak in a rather Francophile style. (Bone-dry)"
