When good Scotch grain whisky is aged in quality American oak casks, the results can be stunning: a rich, alluring whisky, redolent of vanilla, pastry cream, and coconut. This bottling, which expresses all of the best qualities of a 100% grain whisky, will appeal to the ardent enthusiast and newcomer alike. This vatting is created from older whiskies sourced from a number of established distilleries, is non-chill filtered, and bottled at 43% ABV.

"Now a limited annual release, this year's expression has aromas of corncobs, vanilla sugar, pear, lemon meringue pie, nutmeg, and a grain whisky character reminiscent of face moisturizer. Deliciously sweet, it boasts lemon mousse, white peach, and sweet grains, evolving to show lemon zest, pear, white chocolate, creamed banana, and sliced almonds. It concludes with a finish of sweet vanilla and lemon curd. (Release date: 2/25)"

"The nose is sweet and dry, with honey, candied lemon, graham cracker, nutmeg, burlap, and seasoned oak. The texture is syrupy, with a rush of honey, vanilla, and banana over the tongue, pursued closely by light spices. A wave of ripe fruitiness washes in, accented by apricot, peach, and macadamia nut; the mouthfeel becomes creamier with flavors of caramel, vanilla, hints of green banana, and light cocoa, leaving a mouth-coating finish. Recognizably Hedonism, this is quite a gorgeous whisky"
