"This shows pomegranates, rose petals and blood oranges on the nose. The palate is juicy and balanced, with awesome freshness and subtle fruit. Harmonious, elegant and incisive. Fermented with 80% whole clusters. From vineyards in Alpartir and Morata. A blend of garnacha, garnacha peluda, carinena and others. Aged for 12 to 14 months in large oval foudres."

"The 2022 Telescópico Garnacha Garnacha Peluda Mazuela is a blend from different vineyards in the villages of Alpartir, Inogés and Morata, with some new vineyards in 2022, all higher altitude (800-plus meters in elevation) and old; so, it's an improvement in the origin of the cuvée. It's bright, precise and fresh, produced with full clusters in concrete and matured mostly in oak foudre and 500-liter barrels for one year, which gives it some spiciness that I didn't see in other reds from the vintage. It's neatly balanced, with amplitude and complexity, with flowers, berries and herbs, even with citrus, and it has a medium-bodied palate. This overdelivers for the price. 13.219 bottles produced. It was bottled in July 2024."
