"Smoky and youthfully coy, the 2020 Fiano di Avellino Clelia slowly blossoms with a blend of young peaches, green melon and a complicating hint of wet tobacco. It,s luxuriously smooth and elegant, lifted by brisk acidity as mineral-tinged orchard fruits and savory spices resonate throughout. This leaves a primary concentration while tapering off savory, nearly salty in character, with a hint of dried apricot. This is still an infant today, and the 2020 Clelia will require cellaring to blossom fully."

"A compact white framed by well-cut mandarin orange peel acidity, this opens nicely in the glass to reveal layers of white cherry, almond skin, dried raspberry and fresh chamomile and hay. Lightly chalky in texture, with a minerally finish. Drink now through 2029. 175 cases made."
