"Exuberant and leaping from the glass, the NV Champagne Eugene Rosé Brut displays an electric and saturated pink/red color and is lifted with wild aromas of sour cherry candy, crushed roses, grapefruit peel, and salty earth. Made from 82% Meunier (12% of which is red wine) and the rest Pinot Noir coming from a perpetual blend from 2003 to 2020, the wine is full-bodied and fleshy with tropical fruit and savory accents, along with a fluffy mousse. Balanced with ample grippy structure, this is a gastronomic style of rosé that's bold enough to stand up to BBQ and umami-rich cuisines. Drink 2023-2030."

"The NV Brut Rosé Eugène (82% Meunier, 18% Pinot Noir) is nicely sculpted and perhaps a bit vegetal. The Rosé shows plenty of mineral drive and is light on its feet, with good energy and tension. This is decidedly a bit on the savory side, but not in an unpleasant way. I especially admire the energy here. The Dosage is 2.5 grams per liter. Disgorged: November 15, 2022."
