"Made from 82% Meunier, the NV Champagne Eugene Extra Brut Rosé is a saturated pink color and is savory and forward in the glass, with ripe notes of preserved cherries, spice, quinine, orange peel, and toast. Medium to full-bodied, it's ripe all the way through and has a more autumnal and winter feel, with a note of fruit cake on the palate as well as a lively, frothy mousse. Drink it over the next 4-6 years."

"The NV Brut Rosé Eugène (82% Meunier, 18% Pinot Noir) is nicely sculpted and perhaps a bit vegetal. The Rosé shows plenty of mineral drive and is light on its feet, with good energy and tension. This is decidedly a bit on the savory side, but not in an unpleasant way. I especially admire the energy here. The Dosage is 2.5 grams per liter. Disgorged: November 15, 2022."
