Distilled in May 2023, this is a stunning batch of an exceedingly rare subspecies of Agave rhodacantha. Showing off a joyful and racy profile, Ignacio Juarez delivers a more perfumed and tropical example of the variety than should be typically expected from rhodacantha’s more common subspecies, Mexicano. A pleasure to sip on its own, of course, but this mezcal is an absolute delight to pair food with!
