Paradiesgarten is located on top of the slope right underneath the forest, growth on sandstone and is our coolest, nest and most elegant site. Completely barrel fermented and aged on the lees for one year, it has a silky texture but a firm structure and great length.

"The 2023 Riesling Deidesheimer Paradiesgarten Erste Lage emerges from a slightly cooler site that borders the forest and is always the last site to be harvested. It was made in Stück and Doppelstück. Just a touch of yeasty funk on the nose still covers the gentle lemon tones. The palate presents lemony brightness, bedded on fresh, pale but ripe Reine Claude plum. Slender, elongated, bright and pristine, it presents a long and serene citrus-tinged finish. (Bone-dry)"
