With over 80% of the blend aged over eight years, enticing and aromatic Jamaican-rum esters on the nose, and the inclusion of dry Trinidadian rum to skewer the perception of rum as sweet or cloying, this incredibly layered blend is just as enjoyable to sip as it is to use intuitively as a complex spirit base in cocktails. Note the use of “dark” rather than “aged” in the description to reflect the nomenclature of how this style of rum would be described in the Caribbean.
