"This release of the NV Champagne 1er Cru Blanc de Blancs Vendemiaire Brut is based on the 2019 vintage, with 30% from 2018 and 20% from 2017, and it was raised mostly in stainless steel, with 40% in used 228-liter barrels. It pours a medium yellow hue and is inviting on the nose, with notes of lemon bars, poached pear, and saline broth. Juicy and ripe on the palate, it has a frothy mousse and a clean, ripe finish. It's a lovely entry to the range to enjoy over the next few years. 4 grams per liter dosage."

"The NV Brut Blanc de Blancs Vend, miaire 1er Cru (2018 base) is an attractive, airy Champagne. Citrus, white flowers, tangerine peel, pear, mint and white pepper are nicely lifted in this soft, easygoing Blanc de Blancs. All the elements are nicely balanced in this edition. Dosage is 4 grams per liter. Disgorged March 3, 2022."

"Doyard's latest NV Brut Blanc de Blancs Vendémiaire, disgorged in March 2024 with four grams per liter dosage, is based on the 2019 vintage, with 30% from 2018 and 20% from 2017. Sourced mostly from Vertus (65%), it incorporates fruit from Avize, Oger, Le Mesnil-sur-Oger and Cramant and is vinified in almost equal parts in stainless steel (60%) and oak. Unfurling from the glass with aromas of peach, toasted nuts and pear mingling with lemon zest, it is full-bodied, ample and rather gastronomic, with vibrant acidity and a pillowy mousse, concluding with an expansive finish."

"A graceful Champagne, with a satiny mousse, revealing ripe apricot, mirabelle plum, preserved lemon, white blossoms and a streak of salty minerality enriched by hints of toasted hazelnut and pastry cream, all framed by well-knit, chiseled acidity on the long finish. Disgorged March 2023. Drink now through 2026. 500 cases imported."
