"Golden. Saffron, spicy and buttery. Tropical frangipani florals followed by a sweep of tobacco-leaf bitterness and a curve of honey. There is a piercingly long line of acidity set deep into the wine, and, like the Vosk¡, a sense of something shimmering. Dense layers but it's not a dense wine. The finish explodes into spices † ginger, pepper, turmeric. Achingly long. (TC)"
