"Lustrous deep ruby. Firm, concentrated and brooding on the nose, with a peppery tingle. Mouth-filling, tangy fruit with real lift and layered with bags of sandy tannins. Nervy, long finish. (WS) 13.5%"

"The 2021 Chianti Classico is a wild, potent wine. Black cherry, gravel, incense, iron, game and blood bring out the more animalistic side of Sangiovese. This burly, strapping Chianti Classico has quite a bit to offer, but readers have to expect a pretty big, muscular style."
