"The 2023 Chardonnay (Sta. Rita Hills) is a very pretty wine. Bright floral top notes meld into hints of apricot, jasmine, crushed rocks and a kiss of French oak. The 2023 is exquisite and impressively showy for a wine that was just bottled."

"The barrel-fermented 2022 Chardonnay Sta. Rita Hills has vibrant scents of green pear, acacia, hazelnuts and beeswax. The palate is light-bodied and laser-focused yet offers a highly concentrated core of creamy fruit, and it has a long, nutty finish. It will benefit from a couple of years in bottle."

"Doesn't leap out of the glass but it's well behaved and definitely from a cool climate. Just a little more austere than my preferred style of Chardonnay. (JR) 13%"

"Smoky and lees scented, this wine has a yellow apple burst of flavor expressed in a juicy expanse and cool linear energy. Just a touch of creaminess on the finish makes it ideal for roast chicken and tortellini. —P.J.C."
