"The 2019 Chardonnay La Source opens with touches of matchstick that give way to apricot, beeswax, dried hay and singular herbal and spice undertones. The medium-bodied palate opens bright and minerally before expanding its honey-nut flavors, and it has a long, elegant finish."

"The 2019 Chardonnay La Source is lifted and perfumed with a delicate bouquet of chamomile, white flowers, sweet spice and yellow apples. It's more energetic on the palate, vividly ripe in style with juicy acidity to balance. Hints of gingery spice add contrast toward the close. The 2019 finishes fresh and medium in length, leaving a gentle tension and a slightly grassy note as zests of lime and a floral resonance slowly fade. Of note, the 2019 includes fruit from vines planted in 2015, which explains its more forward character."

"Pale lemon. Old parchment and fresh-baked pie crust with a sprinkle of brown sugar and cinnamon, lemon zest, crème fraîche and wet stone. Fresh, vibrant acidity with rich texture and building flavours that lead into an extraordinarily long, toasty, textured finish. Really remarkable. Best drunk slightly warmer when it's had time to open. (SCJ)"

"Bright and minerally, with white stone fruit character and hints of lemon rind, chamomile, subtle spices and crushed stones. Pure and refined, with a medium body and a seamless, lingering, silky feel. Delicate and focused, with plenty of freshness that shows citrus blossom and white almond undertones. Drink or hold."

"Aged for 9 months in Stockinger puncheons and six months in stainless steel, La Source presents Meyer lemon and cantaloupe aromas that are accented by bits of lavender and coconut. La Source's citrusy yuzu fruit flavor melds with pear and salty Marcona almonds. The wine's elegant nature suggests pairing with any Edith Piaf album. ‡ Michael Alberty"

"Wispy aromatics of ocean air, chipped flint minerality and whispers of white wildflowers and grasses. The La Source shows elements of white pepper spice on the palate, with lively fresh Granny Smith, and grippy tang of salty citrus elements. It's rich in its fruit character and carries plenty of minerality to lift the ripe stone fruit flavours of grilled peach and honeyed apricot to an airy finish."

"The 2022 Chardonnay La Source is understated and nuanced in the glass, wafting up with alluring hints of lychee, lemon oil and minty herbs that give way to green melon. This opens with a pretty inner sweetness, lusciously soft and enveloping, with juicy acidity that motivates its ripe orchard fruits. Hints of candied citrus combine with a salty tinge as the 2022 tapers off long and staining, leaving an air of almond custard that adds lovely complexity. Opulent at times, the 2022 is a showboat vintage of Chardonnay La Source."

"Crushed stone, lemon oil, green apples and hints of dusty sage introduce the 2021 Chardonnay La Source. It's savory to the core, with tantalizing acidity and masses of citrus and mineral-tinged pit fruits that saturate. This finishes nearly salty and full of tension, with a lick of sour melon that puckers the cheeks. The 2021 is coming along beautifully."

"The 2021 Chardonnay La Source has savory aromas of flint, roasted almonds, charcuterie and beeswax complementing a core of white peach. The palate is light-bodied yet deeply flavored with mouth-coating, savory layers. It has a foil of tangy acidity and a long, latent finish. It will benefit from 2-3+ years in bottle."

"Pale lemon in colour. White pepper and lemon zest on the nose with a bit of cream and fresh, sweet pea pods. It's making me want to abandon my current dinner plans in favour of lemon-cream sauce pasta. Beautifully balanced, vanilla oak notes. Acidity is crunchy and bright and complimented by a waxy texture and long, salty finish. Extremely appetising! (SCJ)"
