"Very rich but very minerally, too, with ripe white peach, almond, lime zest and chalk aromas that lead to almost sweet, honeyed flavors that last through a lingering finish. Medium-bodied, balanced and likely to improve with more age. Drink or hold."

"From a north-facing site in eastern Sta. Rita Hills, the 2022 Chardonnay Patterson Vineyard exudes breezy, lifted aromas underpinned by deep, honeyed power and mossy, petrichor-like aromas. The palate is spongy and richly textured while retaining a spine of bright, balancing acidity, albeit to a less compelling degree than other Chardonnays in the roster."
