"The 2022 Ferrum comes from 1 hectare planted in 2010 on shale soils, regrafted to Chardonnay eight years later. It has a well-defined nose with pear, sea spray and light earthy scents unfolding in the glass. The palate is well-balanced with a slightly waxy opening, fine acidity, gentle grip and a very saline, Crustacea-tinged finish. Give it a couple of years in bottle."
