"The 2016 Brut Rosé Emotion is stellar, even better than it was last year. There's gorgeous textural breadth and intensity to complement the finesse that is such a signature here. Cranberry, blood orange peel and brisk saline notes build nicely over time. This is a wine of tremendous character. Dosage is 8 grams per liter. Disgorged: October 2022."

"A bright medium pink color, the 2015 Champagne 1er Cru Rose Emotion Brut Rose is 12% vin rouge with 8 grams per liter dosage. The nose is sunny and pretty with aromas of wild mixed berries, tangerine, biscotti, and powder. Medium to full-bodied, it has a more savory and pithy structure all the way through, although it's well-managed, and it has a frothy mousse and a clean finish. A delicate saline note complements the wine, but it's going to demand pairing and aging. Drink 2026-2040."

"Now with an additional year in bottle, the 2015 Brut Rosé Emotion has moved into its more nuanced, ethereal stage. Cranberry, mint, spice and white pepper open with some coaxing, taking the place of the more fruit-driven notes that were present last year. There's good depth, but today I find the 2015 a touch closed. As always, the Emotion is a Champagne of understatement that often has a real feeling of elusiveness. Dosage is 8 grams per liter. Disgorged: February 2022."

"A harmonious rosé Champagne, with sleek acidity creating a mouthwatering frame for the focused range of ripe black cherry, blood orange granita, ground ginger and lime blossom flavors. Shows good concentration as the flavors expand on the palate, but this is racy, with good drive and energy through to the lingering finish, where hints of chopped almond and minerally saline and chalk emerge. Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. Disgorged April 2021. Drink now through 2034. 50 cases imported."
