"Made from 80% Meunier and the rest Pinot Noir, the 2019 Champagne Les Terres D'Illite Brut takes its name from the green clay soils unique to Cuisles. A bright yellow color, it reveals deep, layered of aromas of licorice, black cherry, and tangerine. Full-bodied and focused, the palate offers a fine mousse, with a fantastic core of ripe fruit, and an even spine of refreshing acidity. Offering impeccable balance, with chiseled broad shoulders, it's harmonious through and through. It's impossible to resist now, yet it has the bones to coast gracefully over the coming 10 or more years."

"The 2019 Brut Blanc de Noirs Terre D'Illite is another expressive, open-knit Champagne in this range. A blend of 80% Meunier and 20% Pinot Noir, the 2019 nicely balances the house style in this release with plum, kirsch, spice and cedar notes. This is soft and inviting with tons of red fruit character. Dosage is 2.5 grams per liter. Disgorged: December 21, 2022."
