"The NV Brut Nature Les Houtrants Complantés is a blend of the seven permitted varieties in Champagne, done in a perpetual reserve with 2014 as the youngest vintage an 2008 as the oldest. Brisk and yet also quite resonant, the Houtrants shows why blends can be so compelling. There is a feeling of completeness here that is very much evident but also hard to describe fully. Sweet floral notes meld into dried pear, dried lemon zest, herbs and chamomile. In this edition, the Houtrants is a bit quiet and understated, but that in no way detracts from its considerable beauty. Zero dosage. Disgorged: September, 2022."

"Based on the 2014 vintage, the latest release of Geoffroy's NV Brut Nature Premier Cru Les Houtrants Complantés unwinds in the glass with aromas of green apples, toasted nuts, pastry cream and youthful reduction. Medium to full-bodied, pillowy and precise, this racy, saline wine incorporates magnum-aged reserve wines dating back to 2008. As readers will remember, Les Houtrants is a precocious lieu-dit in Cumières that Geoffroy planted with a field blend of Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier, Chardonnay, Arbanne and Petit Meslier in 2004."

"This graceful Champagne shows complexity in a lithe, bright frame, with well-cut acidity defining notes of grainy yellow pear, pink grapefruit pith, Marcona almond and white blossoms. Long and chalky on the refreshing, mineral-driven finish. Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier, Chardonnay, Petit Meslier and Arbanne. Disgorged September 2022. Drink now through 2034. 13 cases imported."
