"Entirely Meunier from an east-facing vineyard in Damery, the 2019 Champagne Bas-Bauchets is a yellow/copper color and is spicy and aromatic with notes of white pepper, ripe raspberries, and toasted spice. Medium to full-bodied, it's juicy and so tasty on opening, with an inviting nature, a refined and peppery mousse, and wonderful sapidity and density throughout. It has a long and giving finish and is going to show well over the coming 10-12 years."
