"Very aristocratic and elegant example of the cru. Not the richest in terms of fruit weight, yet this has great finesse on the palate with stone notes allied to bright citrus acidity on the finish. Very long in flavour. Classy and lots of ageing potential."

"The 2022 Chablis Montée de Tonnerre 1er Cru has a pretty nose: well-defined peach skin, orange pith and crushed stone scents that blossom in the glass. The palate is very well balanced with a keen thread of acidity. I appreciate the restraint and focus of this Montée de Tonnerre that results in a precise, sapid finish, beckoning you back for more. Superb. Tasted blind at the BIVB tasting in Chablis."
