• 98% Carignan, 1% Garnacha, 1% Syrah (Field Blend)
• Sourced from Truqui, from a dry-farmed granitic vineyard of 100+ year-old-vines
• The site, along a creek, has terrific drainage and thus low yield and concentration
• The site is farmed by hand and horse with traditional methods [originario]
• Portions were made with whole stems, one stomped
• Native fermentation in small tanks with open-tops, no temperature control
• Caps were punched down by hand and pressing was manual
• Aged in neutral French oak barrels for two winters
• Only 11 barrels / 3,371 bottles produced
