"The 2022 Carignan comes from the Evangelho Vineyard in Contra Costa County, planted in the 1890s. The nose is pure and inviting: black cherries and blueberries mingle with wafts of lavender, cocoa powder and desert herbs. The light-bodied palate is bursting with crunchy berry fruit. It's structured by softly chalky tannins, and its vibrance calls you in to take another sip. It will pair widely at the table."
