"The 2022 Cabernet Franc Sans Soufre offers a burst of dark red/purplish fruit, lavender, dried herbs and menthol. There's terrific fruit intensity, but less of the overt weight of some previous years. I find the more restrained style quite appealing. Pretty floral and citrus notes lend brightness throughout."

"The 2023 Cabernet Franc Sans Soufre is a dark, potent wine. Purplish/black fruit, lavender, licorice and cloves bring out the darker side of the variety. The Sans Soufre is usually a bit brighter than this. The 2023 is noticeably dark, reflecting the late harvest and a slight change in vineyard sources."

It straddles dark and bright fruit aromas with fresh herbs and pottery clay notions. The palate is a lovely combination of playful and serious, with a spry, savory texture that concludes with a weightless, succulent finish."
