"The 2021 Cabernet Franc East Block is a gorgeous, large-scaled wine. Dark fruit, mocha, dried herbs, leather and licorice are beautifully delineated. There's plenty of size, power and structure, but also less oak heaviness. This tastes like To Kalon with the added kick of saline brightness that is such a signature of Franc."

"This is dense, offering an understated core of black cherry and black currant preserves laced with alder, hot stone and worn leather nuances along the way. A well-buried tug of iron extends the lengthy finish as the refined structure lets everything echo for a sneakily long time. Best from 2025 through 2040. 220 cases made."
