The Vintage is only produced in select vintages where the grapes show especially well for the production of sparking wines. The bottles remain on the lees for at least 10 years before they are riddled by hand and disgorged. This sparkling is produced from three varieties (Pinot Noir, Grüner Veltliner, Riesling) selected from different sites of the estate. The grapes are harvested and placed in small boxes then immediately pressed. After six months of élevage in cask, it is bottled. It then rests for about three years on the lees until it is hand riddled and then disgorged.
