"Taking a higher toned and focused feel even in its aromatics, the NV Champagne Extra Brut is predominantly from 2018 with a substantial 34% coming from reserves spanning 2011 to 2016, and it was also raised in stainless steel prior to bottling. Classic and inviting, it brings forward notes of fresh green apple, lemon-lime zest, white blossoms, and chalky earth. Energetic and lean on the palate, it's bright and attractive if not a touch dilute, which prevents this from taking it to the next level, although it's a very charming wine indeed, with a lot to enjoy. Bright and zesty without feeling austere, it has a vibrant mousse and a clean, modest finish. It offers a lot of charm and refreshing finesse to enjoy over the next several years. Drink 2024-2039. Disgorged December 2021."
