"A crackingly dramatic explosion of shortbread, lemon and tortas de aceite. Bold, staccato crash and clatter of bubbles. Dazzlingly bright. Coruscating brightness of flavour and acidity and texture. Fennel, yuzu, bergamot and kumquat-papaya gelato. A rich roil and panoply of flavours all within the glittering brilliance of the acidity. Real flair. Outstanding. (TC)"

"Broad and expressive, the 2017 Cuvee Clive is considerably fresher at the estate, with bright pomaceous fruit and sweet citrus before displaying a fine autolytic character. Medium to full-bodied, the palate rumbles with a slow blast off across the mid-palate before gaining speed with a refreshing mouthfeel that ends with an energetic, mineral-laced and citrus-driven finish."
