"Mid ruby. Great depth and complexity on the nose but still a little closed at the same time. Garden herbs with shy raspberry-fruit notes. Supple acidity lifts raspberry fruit that is matched by a big dose of tactile, gravelly tannins. But it doesn't overpower the fruit. Has something earthy and pure about it. (WS)"

"The 2020 Vigna Soccorso has alluring aromas of violet, plum and a whiff of resin. Full-bodied and already almost accessible, the palate features ripe Morello cherry, bilberry and cake spice before closing on a hint of mocha. Tightly woven tannins provide support. Drink 2027–2032.
