• 250-350 metres above sea level on land dating back to the Eocene period characterized by calcareous, marl, argillaceous and conglomerate rocks
• Vines planted with south-west exposition
• Manual selection of the grapes
• Intense extraction with frequent pumping over, followed by long maceration on the skins
• Aged 48 months in Slavonian oak barrels selected by Stockinger, and 6 months in bottle
• 250 cases produced on average only in exceptional years
