"Mid ruby with orange tinges. Hints of candied cherry, rosemary and damson with a saline, minerally undertow. Crunchy raspberry fruit with a layer of fine tannins that hold up on the finish. Elegant and fluid with just a touch of dried fruit on the finish. Has real complexity. (WS)"

"Camphor, blue flower, baked plum and exotic dark spice aromas form the nose. Full-bodied and concentrated, the robust palate recalls blackberry brandy, fleshy Morello cherry, vanilla and licorice accompanied by the warmth of alchohol. Velvety tannins provide enveloping support. Drink 2027–2032. Abv: 15% Kerin O'Keefe"

"The 2020 Brunello di Montalcino Vigna Poggio Cerrino mixes notes of black tea and tobacco with dark chocolate and crushed sour cherries to form its sweet and sour bouquet. It's surprisingly juicy in feel with soft textures offset by tart wild berries and minty herbs that add lift toward the close. The palate is left drenched in primary concentration as this finishes long, structured and slightly bitter."
