For the third edition of Pinhook’s Collaboration Series, Pinhook Co-Founder and Master Blender Sean Josephs teamed up with fellow sommelier Jordan Salcito—an internationally recognized sommelier most known for her time at some of the world’s most acclaimed restaurants, including Restaurant Daniel, Eleven Madison Park, and Momofuku—to blend this Australian single malt whisky. This unique collaboration is composed of Starward Distillery malt whisky aged entirely in red wine casks, highlighting Josephs and Salcito’s shared wine backgrounds and love for great whisky.

"This Aussie single malt was blended from whiskies sourced from Starward, with Pinhook master blender and founder Sean Joesphs teaming up with sommelier Jordan Salcito to make the final blend. The nose radiates fruit—pear, orange, lemon, and berry—with a strong backbone of dark chocolate. On the sip, the influence of the wine barrels becomes more evident, with cassis, jammy red fruits, and currants held in check by toasted oak. (Release date: 11/24)"
