• Finished in peated Islay single malt Scotch casks that were used to age Jamaican rum for Barrell’s inaugural Tale of Two Islands Rum
• Aromas of torched marshmallow, flambéed banana, and grilled peach lead to a waxy, mineralic palate with notes of espresso, candied lemon peel, nectarine, and plum sauce and a finish of brisket, burnt caramel, and blackberry
• Non-chill filtered; bottled at a cask strength of 59.11% ABV

Barrell Craft Spirits’ 2018 Tale of Two Islands Rum saw an 8-year-old Jamaican pot still rum finished in ex-Islay peated single malt Scotch casks. Those flavor-packed casks have been used to finish this blend of straight bourbon whiskeys, imparting subtle notes of tropical Jamaican rum esters and brooding Islay peat smoke.
