"The dry, aromatic nose is somewhat closed but aridly pleasant. On the palate, vanilla and jammy red berries are sprinkled with pepper spice and fragrant drying oak, creating balance. The finish is the best part—long, spicy, and earthy, with dark chocolate, tiramisu, and cinnamon. There is pronounced dryness here from the oak influence, but the flavors emerge after a time, even if they're somewhat constricted."
