The peatiest expression of the Extinct Blends Quartet, Celestial is inspired by an “extinct” blended whisky from the 1960s with pronounced notes of gingerbread sweetness, floral fruitiness, and ghostly peat. Celestial was blended to accentuate that smokiness, anchored by single malt whiskies from Ardbeg and Caol Ila that meld notes of sooty tar and medicinal herbs to recreate an older style of peat smoke.
