"The 2014 Champagne Grand Cru Verzenay Fins Lieux No. 6 Les Basses Correttes Extra Brut is a pale silver straw color but reveals a much more rounded nose of brioche, fresh bread, quince, wildflowers, and poached apples. The mousse enhances the spice and has a pithy texture with broader shoulders and a long finish. This impressive wine is going to drink well over the next 15 or more years."
