"The 2018s from Bierzo have a very aromatic and elegant profile. The 2018 Dominio de Anza Parcelario I feels perhaps a little riper, more primary and very young, but at the same time, it's more nuanced, layered and complex. There are notes reminiscent of blood oranges, violets and curry, definitely closer to Burgundy than the Rhne. The palate is symmetrical and vibrant, focused and clean, very long, with refreshing flavors and fine-grained tannins. It has great complexity and elegance. Bravo! I wish I could travel in time and see what this is doing at age ten..."
