"The 2022 La Poulosa Lomas de Valtuille blends Mencía and Trousseau from Lomas de Valtuille, Bierzo. Fermented with whole clusters and soaked for 50 days, then racked into barrels, the 2022 shows garnet tones, cherry and red fruit aromas with soft floral notes. Slightly warmer, the 2022 balances richness with firm tannins, creating compact elegance and depth from extended maceration and neutral oak aging."

"The 2022 La Vizca¡na La Poulosa is the wine that suffered more from the effects of the warm 2022, as it comes from the warmest place. It has a dark color and a very ripe nose, verging on over-ripeness, with notes of prunes, dates and an earthy touch. It has a rustic palate with abundant tannins and a dusty finish. 12,000 bottles produced."
