Bedrock Vineyard is one of the oldest and most historic vineyards in America. Located in the heart of Sonoma Valley on the west side of the Mayacamas Mountains. It was planted in 1854 and replanted in 1888 following the first epidemic of phylloxera. In the early 1900s, the vineyard produced wines for the California Wine Association until the Volstead Act (October 28, 1919) and Prohibition (Jan 17, 1920 – Dec 5, 1933). Following the end of prohibition, the property was owned and then split between the Parducci and Domenicis families until 2005 when Master of Wine Morgan Twain-Peterson became the owner of this historic vineyard.
