"Very youthful example of Barolo with a pale ruby color. The aromas are fresh and fruity with almost vinous black cherries and fresh violets, while the palate is crunchy and extracted, with medium body, crisp acidity and a slightly stern finish. It needs aging to develop complexity and soften the tannins."

"Serralunga d'Alba. Lustrous mid ruby. Minerally and locked on the nose. Much more open on the palate with supple cherry fruit and with lots of chewy tannins that take the lead on the finish. A little rustic yet genuine. (WS)"
