"This is a focused and mineral Barolo that shows sandalwood and nutmeg notes alongside orange rind, wet stones and cherry pits. Hints of iron. It's medium- to full-bodied, slightly austere for now, with tight and firm tannins. Try in 2028."

"Serralunga d'Alba. Lustrous mid ruby with orange tinges. Firm raspberry and stony peppery notes on the nose. Great freshness and cool-climate character with cherry and cranberry lifted by a wave of grainy tannins on the finish. (WS)"

"This Barolo is a bold and expressive wine, with spicy notes intermingling with dried fruits and earthy undertones. Mouthfilling and generous, it boasts rich, concentrated fruit flavors and a chewy, fullbodied texture. A lot of wine, this Barolo demands to be savored slowly. Drink 2026–2050. —J.P."
