"Lots of blue fruits and cranberries with violets, lavender and subtle licorice. The palate is medium- to full-bodied with sophisticated, polished tannins and pleasant, succulent fruit. Better from 2027."

"The 2021 Barolo Conca is a deep, heady wine. Dark cherry, spice, leather, mocha and rose petal build nicely, filling out the layers. Expressive and resonant, with terrific depth, the Conca has a lot to offer. It is one of the richer wines in the range, and yet all the elements are very nicely balanced throughout."

"Dark red in color, the 2020 Barolo Conca displays more potency as well as a sunny feel with its aromas of eucalyptus, dried black cherries, espresso, and dark chocolate. Medium to full-bodied, it's more seriously structured as well, with ripe, grippy tannins and a more modest level of acidity, although it stays fresh. This is a more brooding wine that's going to improve with another couple years in the cellar. Drink 2026-2046."

"The 2020 Barolo Conca is laced with succulent red cherry, spice, rose petal, mint and blood orange. Soft and plush, with silky contours, this is classic Conca. It will drink well right out of the gate, but even with all of its immediate appeal, the 2020 has plenty of verve. This is a very sexy Barolo."

"Blistering minerals with wet stones, red cherries, raspberries and a touch of white pepper and tea leaves. Nuanced and fresh, with firm, vertical tannins and a tight, pithy finish. Power in transparency here. Drink from 2027."

"Rich and round, this red reveals a powerful structure, with lively acidity and dusty tannins shoring up cherry, strawberry, hay, eucalyptus, iron and tobacco flavors. Leans toward the tannins in the balance today, yet shows excellent potential for the future. Best from 2027 through 2047. —B.S."

"The 2019 Barolo Conca is warm and resonant in the glass, with all of the richness this south-facing side confers. Dark macerated cherry, spice, leather, menthol and mocha infuse the Conca with tons of depth. Although not super-complex, the Conca is outright delicious."
