"Blistering minerals with wet stones, red cherries, raspberries and a touch of white pepper and tea leaves. Nuanced and fresh, with firm, vertical tannins and a tight, pithy finish. Power in transparency here. Drink from 2027."

"Dark red in color, the 2020 Barolo Conca displays more potency as well as a sunny feel with its aromas of eucalyptus, dried black cherries, espresso, and dark chocolate. Medium to full-bodied, it's more seriously structured as well, with ripe, grippy tannins and a more modest level of acidity, although it stays fresh. This is a more brooding wine that's going to improve with another couple years in the cellar. Drink 2026-2046."

"The 2020 Barolo Conca is laced with succulent red cherry, spice, rose petal, mint and blood orange. Soft and plush, with silky contours, this is classic Conca. It will drink well right out of the gate, but even with all of its immediate appeal, the 2020 has plenty of verve. This is a very sexy Barolo."
