Barolo ‘Bricco Luciani’, Silvio Grasso
100% Nebbiolo from 1.5 ha of 35 year old vines in La Morra. Macerated on the skins for 6-7 days in steel vats and aged in new French-oak barriques for 27 months. The wine is cellared in the bottle for 12 months before release.

Complex, aromatic nose combines redcurrant, plum, mocha and tarry oak. Intensely flavored but quite tightly wound, even a bit youthfully aggressive today, however the tannins here are rather fine and the finish shows excellent grip.
