"This medium-bodied white has excellent freshness. Notes of lemons, salted olives, Asian pears and seashells are accompanied by crisp acidity. Dry, mineral finish. Vegan. Drink now."

"In a very heavy glass bottle, the unoaked 2022 Assyrtiko Ecosystem Aghia Kiriaki is beautifully fresh and bright with a tropical side that recalls dragon or star fruit. There is a citrusy side as well that falls to the sweeter side of the spectrum with candied grapefruit and lime. The acidity is spot-on in this unoaked white, and you get a beautifully crystalline and unobstructed portrait of the grape. This single-vineyard expression from Florina (with sand and clay limestone soils) clearly does not have the same pronounced mineral definition that you get with Assyrtiko from the islands. It's a delight to drink nevertheless."

"Lemon blossom and lime followed by hints of red apple skin, showing a touch more ripeness. Elevated acidity, with citrus and red apple notes complemented by a hint of saltiness. A creamy core combines with a tangy texture. Youthful, with impressive length."

"A little riper-fruited than some versions of Santorini Assyrtiko, with herbal citrus notes, but also stony and subtle. Bone dry, chalky texture, super-fresh and firmly dry on the finish. As always, this is a very good mainland Assyrtiko with its own character – more fruity – but no loss of Assyrtiko's appeal. Long sour-fresh finish. (JH)"
