Tasting Notes
Finger Lakes Distilling Apple Brandy is made from a blend of apples grown in New York State—mostly table varieties that bring forth the ripe fruit flavors in the distillate. The cider in fermented in an open-top fermenter and distilled on Finger Lakes Distilling’s continuous column still and thumper before aging for over 4 years in the distillery’s own ex-Bourbon casks. A rich nose of peanuts and apple butter transition to a palate that carefully balances confectionary notes of icing sugar, vanilla, and cinnamon with tart green apple flesh. Pleasant tannin lingers on the finish. 45% ABV
